The Bible Project
I cannot say enough about this channel! A video from them came up autoplay and just, wow! I was blown away by the content. I immediately subscribed to the channel and continued looking for information on homeschooling. The next day, I went to a friend’s house (the one who lent me her homeschooling materials) and she was raving about the channel, too!
Entertain and Educate
The videos are somewhat like a comic strip come to life. The narration is excellent, with the perfect balance between monotone and engaging. The creators have clearly studied the Bible at length. Their animated summaries of the books of the Bible are well-crafted to cover the general themes and lessons in the Bible while also taking time to go deeper into important truths.
Binge-Worthy Content
If you’re laying in bed reading this, getting ready to either go to sleep or get up, I wouldn’t go to their channel. Seriously. Around here, we are stuck on The Bible Project! Continuing to say, “Just one more!” while 10 more videos play.
Instead of another 37 episodes of whatever-you-currently-binge, try out this channel. It’s truly an exciting way to learn your Bible. Whether you read your Bible regularly and have read it cover to cover a dozen times, or you’ve never read a word of it. These videos will surely bless you.
My Favorites (So Far, Right Now)
The first video that appeared on my autoplay. The one which set the hook. Here it is.
The Torah Series. This series which covers, you guessed it, Genesis through Deuteronomy, does a really good job of highlighting how the text always points to Jesus and why His coming was so significant for all humankind.
The Wisdom Series. These videos do well to explain the wisdom literature in a way that is easily relatable, and made me want to re-read Ecclesiastes!
I’ve barely scratched the surface of The Bible Project’s videos but scrolling through, I see sooo many that I cannot wait to watch! Let me know what you think. Comment below with your favorite video, or what you love about them in general.
I hope this blesses your family the way it has blessed mine.
Much love,
Laura
